We had a lovely gathering with Women’s Shed members to acknowledge International Women’s Day in March. It was nice to catch up generally but also to talk about the legacy of generations of women before us who strived for greater equality and the gains that have been made, whilst also acknowledging the work still needed to remove misogyny and achieve true equality. Thanks to Janet for her stirring words.
