About Us

The Granite Belt Ladies Shed Inc is a community-based group that aims to help keep women connected to their community. The Yackandandah Women’s Shed is committed to providing opportunities for women of all ages, abilities, cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds to gather in a friendly environment to share, learn or teach new skills, to find companionship and to connect to community.

We achieve this by providing our members with a safe environment where we can come together to make new connections, develop and learn new skills, share existing interests and skills and broaden networks.

We provide regular meetups; an array of workshops for members to learn new skills; information sessions on topics of interest to women; social gatherings; and we organise and participate in events and projects that support the wider community. We also provide a place where women are welcome to simply drop in for a chat over a cuppa.
