It’s interesting and rewarding to see members of the Women’s Shed working cooperatively on a range of projects with other groups as a way of building our own expertise and skills. A small group of our members have been toiling away over three sessions building our new workbench, with some wonderful assistance from some of the members of the Albury Wodonga Wood Crafters group. Members of our Woodies groups are also members of the Woodcrafters group where they are learning new skills working with wood. Apparently the workbench is nearly finished – keep an eye out for further progress.
And our Mosaics group is busy making blue banded bees, The bees will be attached to bee hotels that the Men’s Shed are making for the Garden Club’s Expo in early May. How’s that for community group collaboration!
